Sensitive refurbishment / conservation and re-development of a high profile ‘Registered’ Building (UK ‘Listed’), located within a quayside conservation area designed to provide commercial and residential functions.
This project involved working closely with the local planning department to secure permission for the sensitive and complete refurbishment of an 18th century warehouse building; together with a contemporary insertion which is carefully designed to reflect existing forms and features of the adjacent buildings, particularly the registered warehouse, as well as respecting the pattern of development within the wider North Quay Conservation Area.
