This replacement dwelling is located in a coastal community, within an area of ‘outstanding natural beauty’, which is also designated as an ‘area of special scientific significance’ under the Island’s UNESCO Biosphere status.
The contemporary design was conceived to facilitate the splendid sea / rural landscape views to front and rear via an ‘upside-down’ solutions to internal planning. Great care was taken to break-up the massing of the dwelling and avoid / minimise impact on neighbours.
