The scheme consists of the redevelopment of the former O'Kells Falcon brewery in Douglas, to form 11 apartments and 1 townhouse. The existing building consists of a five storey registered building to the front with a mix of 4 and 2 storey industrial buildings to the rear.
The proposals seek to improve the condition and integrity of the registered building, whilst accommodating five apartments and the townhouse. The existing warehouse buildings to the rear are to be demolished and replaced with a new build extension housing six apartments.
The architectural language of this extension is modern, providing open plan loft style apartments, separated from the registered building by a glazed link and organised around an open courtyard providing terraced areas to the apartments and light into the rear of the registered building.
