

The practice was founded in April 2004 by it’s Directors‚ David and Caroline Kay‚ both Chartered Architects.
Aims
The practice is committed to the provision of high quality design and professional services to the people and businesses of the Isle of Man and beyond.
Working Methods
The practice utilises the latest innovations in electronic‚ computer and communications technology‚ including the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software‚ together with 3D visualization software and imaging products‚ coupled with broadband internet connection for the fast and efficient transfer of data and information. This technology is used in conjunction with traditional design skills and the personal involvement of the company Directors at all times‚ to ensure that clients receive a consistently high level of service.

David has been qualified as an RIBA Chartered Architect since 1992 and in that time has had a wide variety of experience on numerous building types including healthcare‚ educational‚ commercial‚ industrial‚ retail‚ developer lead residential (including housing association developments)‚ media (including specialist acoustic design)‚ and bespoke private dwellings.
David has extensive brief development and feasibility study experience‚ together with sound design‚ technical detailing and construction contract administration experience.
David is currently architects representative to‚ and is a past Chairman of the Isle of Man Construction Forum and as a qualified Planning Supervisor is past Chairman of the Isle of Man Planning Supervisors Forum.
Caroline Kay

Caroline has been qualified as an RIBA Chartered Architect since 1999 and has experience in commercial‚ educational‚ healthcare‚ industrial‚ developer lead residential‚ as well as bespoke private residential.
Caroline has strong design and graphic presentation skills‚ as well as sound technical detailing and CAD experience.
Robert Robinson

Robert qualified as a Chartered Architect in 2001 and has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry both in the UK and latterly the Isle of Man‚ with extensive knowledge and expertise acquired through a diverse range of projects on Commercial‚ Education‚ Health‚ Industrial‚ Leisure and Residential developments.
Robert’s experience has encompassed: public sector projects‚ including historic buildings‚ conservation‚ estate development‚ and master-planning; as well as ‘in-house’ architect for a private developer involving prestigious apartment / mixed use developments‚ and commercial schemes; and in private practice as a Chartered Architect and Health & Safety Planning Supervisor working on both new build and refurbishment projects‚ ranging from public swimming pools and vehicle showrooms‚ to individual high-end residential projects‚ sensitive rural developments‚ and barn conversions.
Jordan Grant

Jordan has been qualified as an Architectural Technician (HNC) since 2006‚ and has experience in a wide range of developer lead residential developments‚ as well as commercial schemes‚ specifically for the leisure and retail sectors. Jordan‚ with the support of the practice‚ is currently working towards full membership of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT).
